Back Again - email with Office Outlook

by pop_moo / January 15, 2009 3:36 AM PST

Hi,
Thought we had beat this (re Previous posting) but next day when I went on clicked on send/receive, my emails downloaded and then I got (Not Responding) again. Can still get it in safe mode but everytime I try the full Outlook I get the same response after a couple of clicks. Any more ideas please.

But telling about safe mode is good enough. Research what Outlook ADD INS are installed and consider uninstalling those.

Hi,
Feel a bit silly but I thought I would reply so anyone else would not make the same mistake. On my meanderings I saw that there was an update for IE 7, so did a full download of all the updates and that fixed my problem. Who says Microsoft is crap?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
