Question

B.One Eazy- Any good?

Hi guys,

I've just come across this product called B.One Eazy on amazon. It's supposed to be a universal remote that connects to Alexa and Google home. It sounds like a one stop shop to automate my entire home. Im not sure of the products range. Can I set up my entire home with just one?

Any advice on if I should try this out?
Here's the link to what i've seen- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KR91C5C/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_ToXrCbDJCBV2W

I'd appreciate your feedback since i'm trying to create the ultimate smart home Happy

No sale it seems.

This is the test for whether you buy or not and they failed it. The company or seller did not answer pre-sale questions so here you are asking around the net or possibly spamming their product.

Either way the company and seller pretty much told you their answer. Silence. If they won't answer now they won't answer later.

Run away, forget them.

Recently Purchased - Works fine with Echo dot as of now

Bought the this Hub on 29th of Jan and opted two day shipping and it arrived on 31st.
I could setup Eazy to control my Comcast stb, Samsung Television, Denon player and Dyson fan. I was able to control all these devices via their app. I have an Echo dot version 3 and was able to setup with a little difficulty. I could command all my devices including Dyson via Echo. Their app seems to have a lot more features and I will try them later. I will keep updating my feedback here.

I am not sure if you can automate your entire Home with this but can surely control all Infrared based devices ( Televisions, Set top box, Music players, Air-conditioners and few others like Philips Lights, Lifx Lights, Nest devices, Honeywell Thermostats as i see option to add them in their app.

Working fine for me. You still need Smartthings / Wink

I am not sure if you can automate your entire Home with B.One Eazy. You can definitely control all Infrared based devices like :Televisions, Set top box, Music players, Air-conditioners, Dyson Fans. I also see ability to add wi-fi devices like Philips Lights, Lifx Lights, Nest devices and Honeywell Thermostats. But I haven't tried them yet.

If you are planning to fully automate your home, I suggest you to use Smartthings / Wink
Hub based on the kind of Z-Wave / Zigbee sensors you want to use and use Eazy to control all your Infrared controllable devices and few wi-fi devices.
