Tough call. That 3 hour battery life is ok if you don't use it that much in a day.

I need help: I need to buy a pda/ppc for business use, and I'll use the device for calendars, appointments, to do lists and contacts. I really like the windows interface rather than the palm 5.2.1, and I am in between the Dell Axim x30 standard or the HP Ipaq rz1715. Which one is better or should I buy? Thanks

Thanks for replying. My struggle is: I like the size of the rz1715 but the x30 appears to be a better ppc overall, although, I don't appreciate the design that much. I won't be doing much of multimedia or games. Should I side with performance or my design preference?
I find that the slightly smaller unit to be something I will carry more often. In my case, I have this Treo 90 which I like better than my IIIc...

I know you're a moderator and you do have a lot of experience with pda/ppc. What is your opinion about the rz1715. I've seen a lot of bad reviews about, but most of them relates to disappointment with HP for making such an entry level ppc. As far as processor and its speed, are they good or not? I need some expert advice, so I can make the right choice. Thanks.
For calendaring, how many MHz does it take? I have a collection of Palms and they start off at 16MHz and do just fine. So will this PPC at 200+ MHz.
What some are wanting is a PC in their hand. It's almost there, but the market isn't there yet.
It may strain to play video, but that wasn't your goal.
