What I use is the GSPOT CODEC APPLIANCE (see google.)

Also I never have an issue making DVDs from .AVI files. But then again I'm using DVD FLICK (again, see google.)

Sorry, how would you do that?

That is. How could any computer program be able "to check my avi files are playing good to write in dvd"?

Only a human could analyze that the video and audio sync and much much more. Your reply is sadly missing a question, question mark and was far too vague for me to guess what you were asking or even if you asked a question. Spend 2 minutes if you have to so everyone can understand what you are looking for.

...that a lot of folks posting here are not first language English speakers/writers. And that's often preventing them from being able to sort out technical details that are sometimes required to explain what's not working, etc.

Which is why...

I'll be blunt about asking for more detail.

I can be very blunt sometimes too...

...but sometimes it can help to catch the flies with a little less vinegar Wink. Something like, "could you re-phrase what exactly you need so we can help you better?" {Although it's true what he wants does not exist per se.}

have a good weekend,

avi files can be written to a dvd as data file.

Was that how you do it? What do you want to do with the burned dvd ? Most standalone player will not play avi files.

"On the fly" method

Again, as has been suggested to you, there isn't anything to detect problems w/o first manually opening the files in a viewer of choice. Although this isn't a workaround per se, what I do sometimes is try opening an AVI file w/ WMP or DIVX player, and if those throw back errors, I open instead in VLC that tends to play almost anything. It can do quick corrects (sometimes) on (bad) AVIs, and will allow viewing of partially downloaded/slightly corrupted files. YMMV.

No, I don't think there is such tool available.

Just play the file on the computer is all I can think of (sadly it is a long process..I know).
