Hello draknoir42,
Hello,
Several days ago my laptop started running very hot and when I checked the taskmanager I noticed AVGIDSAgent.exe is using about 50% of the CPU at all times. I checked several forums, and tried disabling the ID Protection within AVG, however this only freezes my computer for several minutes, and while the AVG console reports it is disabled, the process is still running and using up massive CPU power.
My MSINFO file is located at http://www.clockshopman.com/Anna_MSINFO.zip but here is a summary
Win XP SP3
AVG 10.0.1411 w/ Virus DB 2092/3973, CCleaner installed (not active in background)
Spybot S&D installed (not active in background)
Amazon MP3 Uploader
No additional firewall, backup, or protection software.
