AVG Virus Software

I have AGV 7.5 Free Edition Virus Software. I use Win. Vista. At some time the E-mail Scan in AVG began not activating when my computer starts up. I go to the Control Center activate E-mail scan and it stays activated until shut down and start up. So far I have been unable to find the settings I need to check, to set when E-mail Scan starts up. Any Sugestions? All Help and input is appreciated!

Open AVG control center>e-mail scanner properties>in the plug in tab under installed plug ins does it say "personal e mail scanner"?

Also in the plug ins tab>configure button>are the certify mail boxes checked?
