Does this happen only in IE or other browsers as well?? If this happens in all the browsers that you use, then there must be some problem in AVG installation, so you can try to repair installation or tray a fresh reinstall. If this is a browser issue, then probably you can check whether safe browsing option of your browser is enabled or not..
