Thank you for sending your message to Environment
Canada. The problem with the animation of the radar images began
around June10. With help from some users, we have determined that this
problem is caused by the latest version of the popular AVG antivirus
software. The latest version has contains an update to the Linkscanner
tool. Turning off Linkscanner should solve the problem with the radar
images.

Hello sup_krah,

Unfortunately we are unable to induce the issue in our environment using Internet Explorer 9 and AVG 10.0.1390. Page is loading and working correctly.

Does the issue occurs in both of your browsers?
Could you provide us with list of add-ons installed in Internet Explorer?

Please also provide us with MSinfo output.

Upload requested file to your favourite online storage service and provide us with link.

Thank you

More detailed outputs
Jul 25, 2011 4:29AM PDT

Hello sup_krah,

Could you please try to turn off Search-Shield component and Surf-Shield component one by one and check which one is causing the issue?

We will need more detailed outputs in order to be able to analyze this issue.

Please open the website with LinkScanner disabled and save it.
Then enable LinkScanner, open the website and make sure that it is not working correctly and save it again.
Compress both saved sites, upload them to online storage and provide us with link.

Also create and provide us with wireshark outputs.
As previosuly one output with the website working correctly and one with website not working correctly.
Compress and upload the outputs and provide us with them.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello sup_krah,

You have provided us with folders which belong to good_save_index_e_files.html and bad_save_index_e_files.html files.
However, we also need the .html files themselves.
We are unable to download them from previously provided links as they require 4shared subscription.

Please try to provide us with them again, try to use different file hosting if possible (e.g. megaupload, sendspace).

Thank you

Hello sup_krah,

I would like to ask you to replace your version of cf.dat with cf.dat from this link:

https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/cf.dat

- Navigate to folder C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\
- Rename old cf.dat to cd_old.dat
- Save there new cf.dat from provided link (file was modified by our developers to disable one LinkScanner feature, which looks like the possible culprit)
- Restart computer

What is the current situation?

Thank you

Before I tested your file I tested the problem and it now seems to be working okay with the link scanner enabled. I was unable to test the new cf.dat file when the problem existed.
