Answer
I see you are in a class action suit?

When you get out of the suit you may consider not suing those that help here.

I found the AVG removal to work except where some TROJAN and OS damage existed. I can't see how anyone would make any lawsuit stick on that one but what about going old school on it and deleting it manually?

I can't guess what background you have but manual removals are something we've done for decades now.

So now the old fashioned manual removal.

There are so many ways to do this that we have to guess your choice here. We have the Revo Uninstaller (for beginners) (sometimes works), we have the delete the folder the app is in (may require safe mode) and then we have the seasoned user that boots up Ubuntu to delete those things.

why does avg software removal not work?It is their baby !

I didn't write it.

We know there are reasons it can't. Do you want to discuss malware, trojans, permissions on folders, accounts, and more?

There is not one single reason for it to work in all systems. I guess you want a discussion about Windows?

divert focus to windows

if lawsuit is the only way...according to you...windows is the problem

Your choice here.

We can discuss old removal methods or you can go the legal path.

This is not a divert to Windows attempt. It's what this is running on and when we ask why, we get to discuss permissions, files, registry, services and how things work. Usually interesting but boring and rarely is about removing a stubborn app.

But some want to do that.
