AVG is not working

by PRATIK_123 / July 18, 2008 3:58 PM PDT

AVG anti-virus is not detecting any viruses on my PC while I found lots of Viruses in my PC. Even Avira anti-virus is also not working.
Which anti-virus I use that will protect my PC from the viruses like TROZEN HORSE", WIN32.EXE, and lots more.
Plz tell me as soon as possible.

if AVG and Avira didn't?

If you have so many viruses as you tell here, the best thing to do is to start all over with a clean install of Windows. Then install all Windows security patches, any antivirus, McAfee's Siteadvisor and be careful with opening attachments from emails. That should help.

What we do with our PC and more can add to the protection.

Example. We had one member that consistently maintained that these protection softwares should work even with them downloading "crackz" and pirated software.

Let's just say this. "Never going to happen."

Given your other post asking for pirated goods it makes me think you are download warez.

Stop doing that.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
