Does any one have an opinion of or using this product ?

I'm looking to replace Norton Internet Security very soon and am looking for suitable replacements.

Thank you!

An excellent choice
by Brent Welch / January 22, 2008 4:59 AM PST

I've been using it since July/07, when I was offered my choice of AVG products as a replacement for my paid version of Ewido, which was purchased by Grisoft.

It combines AVG Anti-Virus Pro (which I was using), AVG AntiSpyware (Ewido renamed) and includes firewall. One program running, instead of three individual programs.

Since switching to AVG in 2003, after having used Norton products for years, and tiring of all the problems with such, I've had no trouble whatsoever, nor reason to regret my decision. I would NEVER again use any Norton product.

AVG 7.5
by Larry38 / January 22, 2008 6:27 AM PST

My PC is over 4yrs. old and the first thing I did was remove Norton. I used AVG Free Version for awhile and then tried Avast, which has a very good Free Version but ended up getting AVG Pro Version and have used it about 4 years, I use the A/V part only, because I use a different Antispyware and Firewall.

Just my opinion.
