AVG Free Edition Update File Download Stuck At 0%

by Astro-Xana / March 14, 2008 6:49 AM PDT

Whenever I try to check for updates with AVG Free Edition and when the AVG Update File Download starts, nothing happens and it is stuck at 0%. Do you know what could be causing this?

Go to http://free.avg.com/download-update and download all available downloads.
Form the AVG GUI click on "Tools -> Update from directory..." than in the popup window select the directory where you have dowloaded the files, click "Ok" and you've done.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
