Please note that you need at least 512 MB RAM for AVG 9.

If you have enough memory please try to disable all the other startup programs prior to installing AVG:
Start - Run - "msconfig" - Diagnostic startup - Restart computer

Afterwards you can reenable the programs in msconfig by choosing Normal startup

Hi,

AVG Free could be installed on more computers/laptops in your home network, but please keep in mind that:

AVG Free is for private and non-commercial use only.

Else please read license agreement available at http://free.avg.com/ww-en/eula

Thank you

You posted in this discussion with a link to a web site with a free AVG download.

It has been confirmed by the AVG Tech Support people here that the site you provided a link to is not an official AVG site and is not supported by Grisoft.

I see no reason for linking to that web site as Grisoft's own web site has full details and options for it's free version of the AVG anti-virus.

That is why I deleted your post. I also note that another, similar post by you elsewhere in these forums was also deleted.

Please note that similar future posts will be deleted.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
