Jan 3, 2009 10:37AM PST

Hi! I have installed avg anti virus and i got this virus a month later about installing real antivirus. Now around before this happened whenever i went to the main menu of AVG it would say the following: Youare not protected please check the following componments: E-mail scanner: not active. So i went to the email scanenr menu and it said this: instaleld email plug-ins: there are no plug-ins installed. And i am not sure which plug-in to install or anything some body please help!

Thanks, in advance.

you posted to concerning Real Antivirus.
The non-working of an email scanner is not critical, provided the main resident application is working.
Sort out the rogue problem, then we can see about fixing the email scanner. It's likely to be something fairly easy to address.
