Hello Salami1_1,
I have passed detected sample (as Trojan horse Dropper.Generic3.ZEM) to our virus specialists for closer analysis.
In the meantime, can you please open my CNET profile and send me an email with some identifier from your communication with our AVG support? (or just used email address so I can look up it in our emailing system)
Thank you
Hello,
We are developers of SRS software (SimlockRemoteServer) and we had some customers complain about AVG detecting trojans in our software which is complete nonsense.
AVG seems to be only virus scanner that is doing this at the moment and for this we are forced to advise all our customer to use other virus scanners such as avast.
I think it is very weird to say the least that AVG doesn't have any options to report false positives for developers (or well I haven't found it). So I will do it here as I saw AVG staff is actually replying here.
I tried contacting AVG via email also and no replies at all in more then 5 days (again not very professional).
Now for the software:
http://www.unlocksamsungonline.com/files/srs-setup.exe
http://www.unlocksamsungonline.eu/files/srs-setup.exe
(both exactly same file). Check for yourself and please remove this false positive ASAP.
