AVG can't open some files!

Mar 12, 2004 11:38AM PST

I'm hoping for some advice from all you seasoned AVG users. I switched to it from NAV and had been pleased as punch, until today when I decided to peruse the Test Results Log, and came across the following entries for every scan:

Results of Complete Test, date and time 16/02/2004 15:19:50 :

Testing C:\ volume DRIVE_C serial D8D2-9EE7
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM.LOG Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\ntuser.dat.LOG Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\NTUSER.DAT Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\WINDOWS\UsrClass.dat.LOG Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\WINDOWS\USRCLASS.DAT Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\ntuser.dat.LOG Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\NTUSER.DAT Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\WINDOWS\UsrClass.dat.LOG Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\WINDOWS\USRCLASS.DAT Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\DANIELA\ntuser.dat.LOG Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\DANIELA\NTUSER.DAT Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\DANIELA\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\WINDOWS\UsrClass.dat.LOG Cannot open; not checked!
C:\Documents and Settings\DANIELA\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\WINDOWS\USRCLASS.DAT Cannot open; not checked!

Can someone please tell me if it is normal for AVG not to scan these files? If it's not normal, what could be problem be? I've got a PIII 449mhz, XP Pro.

Thanks!
