AVG 7.1.361 to >362 Problems Again. Updater refuses to....

Oct 29, 2005 3:10PM PDT

acknowledge that .362 exists on my laptop & my daughters desktop. Both have latest definitions (12.6/151) but even after both Priority & Optonal, they still show program 7.1.361 even after both program & system reboots. This happened on my desktop but updater finally delivered 2 days later (last week). Didn't expect the same problem now. Any ideas, anyone else still have .361? Thanks in Advance! Happy

Same issue

here. Then I just went back to freegrisoft website and download the .362 version. You don't need to uninstall the previous version (from what I read from the FAQ) and it will automatically upgrade it. The latest def. will still stay the same. Only the version is changed.

Similiar issue...

When I Restored to a previous date and AVG would not recognize the need to update to .362.

My solution like previous post was to download the latest version from Grosoft... uninstall old version and install the latest. Worked like a charm! Grin

Yep, Same Problem...

I have AVG Pro. and have the same problem, still have v361, but AVI is up to date .151. I had the same problem going from .344 to 361, had to do a manual download and I also did a clean install. (my choice)
I like AVG and have used it for some time, both free and Pro. I just wish they would get their act togeather.
