Hello kiranpbaxi,
while installing avg 2012, it asks server with port 80, what does it mean? What about proxy details asked?

I have downloaded the above files from AVG and Cnet and still no luck with the any installation. The "free" edition (internet install file) does not accept either IE, Firefox, nor Chrome as an open-browser-window to get the necessary install files from and automatically quits the install. The "full" file does not allow me to select the free option, it asks for a license first thing and i have to quit the install.
I am running XP with 64-bit system - how do I install AVG Free 2012???
Thanks,
Jim
