Avengers 3D BlueRay not working

I have a Samsung Model HT-C6930W with the latest firmware and I can not get the Avengers 3D BlueRy disc to play. The regular (non 3d) version plays fine. Please assist.

Avengers 3D not working

SKU/ASIN/UPC: N/A @ work right now

Complete Model Code of Blu-ray Player/Home Theater: HT-C6930W
Firmware Version: 1011.4?-YES
Describe the behavior when a disc is inserted (e.g., error messages, appearance, time delay): The 3D version starts/loads okay, but just prior to the movie menu it "hangs up" with the Avengers Logo spinning in the center of the screen
How many copies have been tried: 2

Obviously Samsung is aware of this issue because I've been reading about the same issue here and on other forums.

Samsung 3d HT-C6930W

I cannot play Avengers 3D, Brave 3D, John Carter 3D.

3D worked just fine to start, I played Avatar 3D, Priest 3D, Resident Evil 3D and now I can't play any new releases.

Hi nkrenz,

This issue should have been fixed with a firmware update that was released Oct 4: 1016.2

Please try that and let me know.
