Question

Avast Antivirus Free....No sounds

I just install my first free security using Avast on both laptops and I do not have sound and not even sure its working.

Any ideas? Thanks

Open the avast user interface.
Click on settings.
Click on sounds.
Check enable sounds.

Exit out.

Download an eicar test file.
It should trigger a sound.

Thanks that did work! I remember years ago I tried it for a couple days and it was constantly talking to me to the point I uninstalled it. Lol. As long as its working I am happy. I have had Norton so long I was used to seeing a check mark showing all was secure.
