How do i use my tv as a computer moniter?

My TV has only Audio/Visual and Coaxial ports and my computer has only usb ports.

A TV does not make a good computer monitor.

TV's generally do not have a sufficiently good frequency response. Computers, in turn, are not usually configured to use a TV as a monitor. They do not encode their signals on the frequencies that a TV expects.

but i can use my tv to watch dvds, and i can use my monitor to watch dvds. I am just looking for a way to connect to two (watch something in my dvd player on my monitor and something from my cpu on my tv)

TV to VGA

You can buy VGA to TV conveter they cost $60~100. They down convet to a video signial, there will be a loss of quality. John
