Question

autorun.inf problem

Hi,
I am new to this forum.
My problem is that I want to start a program with parameters when a DVD is inserted. The command looks like this:

Clarification Request
Very odd.

The autorun.inf would not run until we explored c:\

Have you checked with your programming staff about this?

Then you may need to learn more about how this works.

As presented it will never work. I suggest you try other ideas. Sorry I can't see what you were trying to do but wanted to get you an answer about what you did and why it failed.

The autorun.inf has to be on the disk.

The programs that can handle a disk are defined somewhere in the registry.

If you can find out how all your media players know to present themselves on the "You inserted a DVD, what program do you want to use to open it" dialog window, you might be able to add the entries that would make your wish to work.
