automtic sign on not working (ref.100902-000029

I use latest firefox browser. Cnet does not sign on automatically and asks for my name and password. I am no novice so believe I have cookie exception set properly with firefox, disabled adblocking but still no success. Even while still on browser, if I go to another site and then back to cnet, I must log in again.
