Automatic update on client machines

Jun 20, 2008 7:28AM PDT

I am looking for something that would allow me to automatically update the applications installed on my customers' machines, whenever I have a new version available. Could anyone recommend me something please?

I need something that would work for ".Net applications and C++ windows services" (this is what my boss told me but I have no clue what he means)? Or, could anyone recommend the terms I should search for on the internet please? I've been searching for "automatic update" but the only things that come up are windows automatic updates which don't really help.

Many thanks for your help.

Thanks R. Proffitt. I am actually looking for something like Flexnet connect and am wondering what alternatives I have. Cheers.

Did you find something that works for you? What app's do you need to update? Give me a little more info and I may be able to help you.

Thanks Todd

Sorry

Thanks a lot! Sorry, for some reasons I didn't receive emails notifying that someone has responded to my question.

Yes I have found what I need. You are right there are a lot of them. I was just not searching the correct keywords.

I think AutoUpdate+, TrueUpdate, and AppLife are very good choices, just trying to decide which one would work best for me. Cheers.
