automatic scan

by user470 / February 5, 2010 7:17 AM PST

I set my free AVG for automatic scan at a certain day and time. My question is this: Do I have to keep the computer turned on for about two or three hours after the set time? What would happen if I turned the computer off 10 minutes after the set time? Would the scanning continue when I turned the computer on again later? user470

I believe that the scan would have to start over. Someone else may have more knowledge.

To Craig: Would the scan start over by itself when I turned the computer on later? Thank you. user470

I have answered in your other thread.
I would like to ask you not to create separate threads like this if you already posted question in your other thread.

Thank you.
