Question

Automatic login disabled

Dec 23, 2011 2:48AM PST

After my husband's IT got his hands on my husband's Macbook Pro (10.6.Cool to fix a login problem, it came back with automatic login disabled. I've checked the Security and Accounts panes in System Preferences, logged in with a different admin account--no luck. (And yes, I've "unlocked" the panels.) That option is checked "OFF" and grayed out everywhere. (Someone said that Filevault can interfere, but Filevault is off.)
