Your saved documents use the template Support.dot, but if Word is set up to use Normal.dot on new documents that is what it will do.
There are options in Tools > Templates and Addins that allow you to modify the Normal.dot options, but to be honest I have never used them, so I can't advise how to do so.
One option I can think of is to find all instances of Normal.dot on your computer and change them to Normal.old, then copy your Support.dot and rename the copy to Normal.dot.
By changing Normal.dot to Normal.old rather than deleting them, then you can always recover the proper template in the future if you need to.
I hope that helps.

Hi,
I am in the process of trying to get a standard autocorrect list in my workplace for all users. I have used the support.dot tool to export from a source computer and restore on the destination computers. This works but there is one problem.
When I open a 'new document' it reverts to my old autocorrect list. When I open up a word document from a template the full autocorrect list is available as imported.
Can anyone suggest how I can get this list to stick for 'new documents'.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
