Autocomplete in Windows XP doesn't work!

May 18, 2005 10:22PM PDT

Tried everything! All tabs are checked but still no autocomplete. Is there some way autocomplete could have been deactivated in an 'unusual' way without my knowledge?

Windows XP Professional
AMD Athlon 2.0Ghz
Running Norton system works 2005

Corruption.

A suggestion to consider, should anomalies happen when using the Autocomplete functions, is whether corruption exists in any of the areas where the steps suggested in #6 of [Q276393] may be required before Autocomplete operates as expected. In addition, since it is possible a user profile itself may be corrupted, create a new user profile to see if Autocomplete then functions as expected.

Autocomplete in which area

In Internet Explorer? or a DOS window? In Outlook?
That's the only three I can think of, at the moment.

Or is it somewhere else?
