Autocomplete and passwords

May 31, 2005 7:10AM PDT

XP has stooped remembering passwords and the autocomplete no longer works (i.e. the drop down lists aren't there any more). Also, I get the dialogue box asking if windows should remember a password every time I need to log onto a site but the password isn't remembered. The options on IE6 at tools > options > content are all checked to allow autocomplete to work ok. Any ideas as to what's wrong?

Have you tried removing the check marks

and rechecking them again? Be sure to click on OK when done.
