Auto start windows

Feb 15, 2009 7:51AM PST

I built a rack computer that i am using for a live music situation. I got preset effects for my guitar. The problem is i have to use a mouse/keyboard/ monitor to access my host. I managed to be able to start up my host (ableton) when windows starts using a program called "Start up manager". There is one main problem though.

when the computer turns on it does not go right into windows, it goes to 2 things of my choice. The Welcome screen where it shows all the user tabs or the Classic login prompt.

is there anyway i can set it up where it just goes right into windows without having to click a tab or put a password in? I do not even have a password, but i still have to hit the enter key to get past the prompt.

I just want to turn on the computer and start playing without even seeing the screen.

Get TweakUi

the MS Powertoy. You will need to create a password. It has an auto-login tweak that goes right to the desktop using your username and password. Any programs set to start up automatically should still work. Use google and type in tweakui. It'll be there.
