I have a pentium 4, 3 gig processor with a 1 gig memory. I am running WinXP pro. It is a put together by a computer shop. When I first got it I could shutdown and all was normal. After a few weeks when I shut down computer would power down and close it would power down and after a period of time of 1 to 3 minutes it would restart on its own. I would have to turn of main power switch to keep it off. After doing this for a week or two it went back to shutting down normally. After 8 months of use it started the restarting process again. I have to shutdown and turn main power off to keep it off. Any help in what could be the problem?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
