Question

Auto refresh Windows 7 desktop after loss of network connect

Nov 12, 2014 9:01PM PST

Greeting all,

I had a recent request from my manager. Every now and then a user loses network connectivity. As a result, their desktop icons disappears upon reconnection. I typically instruct the effected user to tap F5 to refresh, which promptly brings the icons back.

When a system loses network connectivity, Is there a way to have that system automatically refresh the desktop when connectivity is reestablished? Thanks!
