auto defrag

hello every body and mr. profit (bob) my auto defrag is turned off but when I go to task manager theres a process called svchost.exe (defragsvc) on and running the hard drive I looked it up and people was saying that is the auto defrag how can that be if its disabled.
can any help.

yes I tried the link and it told me to go to action center and maintenance and I will be able to change schedule or disable it. I looked but it only gives me the option to change schedule it dosent give me the option t disable it...

Sounds like a Windows 8 bug or annoyance.

yes i thoght it was a bug, but i think it was a regestry error. i tried to download napster and when i did, it downloaded a bunch of stuff that i didnt want, every thing except napster. so i restored the computer to an earlyer date, and then the defrag problem started to happen. so i downloaded cccleaner. and it told me that there was a regestry problem with itunes app. so i uninstalled it and ran cccleaner regestry cleaner and the problem stoped.....
