Does anyone know how to extract (trim / crop-to) a 30-second fragment of a given mp3 file, say 4 minutes long? I am doing audio samples for CD tracks to preview on our website that sells music, and I have automated the process to do this automatically:
1. Load files in batch processing
2. Crop song file to 30-seconds (middle of the song)
4. Fade ends (in and out)
5. Resample to mono / 22 khz / etc.
6. Save sample file
The problem I have is, where the selection for step 2 occurs. I can't seem to tell Audition to "SELECT 30 SECONDS AT THE MIDDLE OF THE SONG"... and if the song is exactly/less than 30 seconds, selet entire song (very unlikely). I am currently using a manual (recorded on script creation) selection:
Selected: none at 0 scaled 9294336 SR 44100
cmd: Channel Both
Selected: 1764000 to 3750666 scaled 9294336 SR 44100
But this varies with the file length / sample freq, etc.
How can I tell Audition to select EXACTLY 30 seconds (or any other custom size I want) at the middle of the song, to ALWAYS produce 30-second files?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
