all the information the President sees. They can't keep their cottin pickin mouths shut! Therefore, they can't be trusted with all of the information.

What a glib reply! Why SHOULD they keep it secret? The more complete briefing has now been declassified, except for a couple of the sources used to gather the information. You're once again trying to distract from the main point, which is that not only did Bush et al. not "shake the trees," but apparently took care not to disturb them!
