Auditing program

Apr 30, 2008 1:15AM PDT

My company is looking for a program capable of Hardware audits, software audits, and licence checking. Specifically, if there any programs that would pull product IDs as it scans the software so we can track which users are using what product under what licence, that would be ideal. Any ideas?

Scroll down to the modules...

-> I can't resist telling you that as a software author my software which I wrote for the company under their direction, pay and more was always under fire from the IT staffers. Hilarity ensued as they would remove it as a license violation and Monday would start with people asking where the tools went to.

Lost a few good IT staffers that way.

Thanks. One more question though...

So does it find product keys? Or do I have to search them out myself and input them?

Is this magical software?

Your question (sorry if I read it wrong) is to compare the found license keys with the ones issued to you without you telling the software what the valid keys are.

Sorry, that feature is not in any known software. Please rewrite the question or correct me if I misread that.

Thank you, that seems to be the consensus. That I just won't be able to do it automatically.
