Resolved Question

Audiograbber Problem

Mar 9, 2012 1:33AM PST

I never had a problem with Audigrabber until today.
I ripped some songs off of 1 CD fine today but when I
tried to do another one the song starts and songs when I try to listen to it and if I try to rip a song it just crawls.
I tried different CDs but it still does the same thing.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but still
have problems.
Any suggestions????

Could be many things.

As a CD drive ages or gets some dust on the lens you try the lens cleaner and then another drive.

I'm not an Audiograbber user since I've used CDEX for a bit too long to admit.

Brand New Computer
Mar 9, 2012 2:00AM PST

This is a brand new computer so I shouldn't have a problem.
I'm also using Windows 7 and I looked up the program you mentioned
but it doesn't list Windows 7. Will it still work????

It worked here.

And if it's new, that's no assurance things are good. I got some new coffee for my K-cup machine and the result was less than thrilling as the new cups from this new box explode.

Thanks/Your Program

Does CDEX work with Windows 7????
It seems that the only problem I have now is when I try to install a download from the internet from the CNET site. The program installs but then it doesn't run or locks up the computer.
If I reboot the computer then the program that installs works.
I found a replacement for Audiograbber (Easy CD-DA Extractor 16) but it's not free.
I tried the other free programs but didn't like them.
I can try the program for 30 days for free so I'm going to try and rip all my CDS for then
so I won;t have to pay the $33.

Sorry

But CDEX may be old and too hard on folk to install or get working. Most of this is covered at http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/?q=faq

I wonder if the famous CNET wrapper is getting in the way.
