Audio tape to CD

Aug 12, 2005 8:09AM PDT

I have recently been trying to convert Audio tapes to CD. During the actual recording it sounds fine however after I record using sound recorder or audioroom CD Recorder the play back is slow. Please tell me what might be the problem.

maybe there are speed control on the programs that you have mentioned, or maybe try not to do anything (multitask) with the computer while you are recording. Just a guess.

What sampling rate are you using? Standard CDs use 44.1 khz

as I recall. If you record with a different rate, a player may not understand the change.
