Audio Splitter

Audio Splitter

Is there a software app that will split the audio from a CD / DVD / movie ? App to create sound tracks only without the Video ?

I am playing old vinyl records, 45's, and recording them to digital format. But the hard ware / software / auto creates a Video portion which is blank.

What do you use to only split the Audio ?

You simply save the output in an audio format like wav

or mp3. Any good audio or video editor should do that. I use Sony Sound Forge and Sony Vegas (video), and both are able to do this.

I tried it as I have other Sony products including my Dig Camera and it all worked well.
