Be iffy at best. My son uses a Tascam DR-40 and other things when he needs multiple tracks. The fact you are seeing issues tells me you are on Windows and that you may need to record and edit it later in post production to get it to line up.
What's going on is that in Windows the recording path can vary with each device. You might find one PC that works better than the next.
So, I've noticed that most of the time whenever I'm recording audio on my computer, whether it be from Audacity, Sound Recorder or even screen recorders like Action! or Skype recorders, the audio is always messed up for some reason. Sometimes the pitch gets lowered and other times, when recording from multiple mics, etc. the audio doesn't sync up. And it isn't a quick fix the sync and go. It's like, you can fix the sync and then a few second later in the file, it's screwed up again. This makes editing almost impossible and I would LOVE to know what's going on.
If anyone has ANY idea, I'd really appreciate it.
