Question

Audio randomly stops working entirely

Jan 29, 2015 6:27PM PST

Hi everyone!
Recently I bought a new pair of headphones to use on my PC (The Turtle Beach X12), and have been encountering a problem when I use them. I will be playing games, or watching videos or listening to music, and the audio will completely cut out (these headphones, the laptops speakers and other headphones stops working). There is no pattern to this and it seems to happen at random times. At first I would say it is the fault of the laptop as it is getting a bit old, but I got the problem a lot more after I started using these headsets. I was wondering if anyone had any advice regarding the matter as I haven't had any luck searching it up(my laptop is the aspire timeline X for reference).
