it's the situation that determine what you use. For example; I can't use aac because mp3 is all it support.
Hello there, I forget "exactly" where I just read this, but some where here on cnet in a newsletter, either reviews of mp3 players, or software or something like that, i can't find it now.
Anyway, It said that a couple formats compared to mp3 are much better (of course), but it said that a aac and or aiff (a couple different ones) I can't remember exactly, but they at 160 are as good as a .mp3 at 320, is that true ?.
So basically saying that those formats it mentioned were as good encoded at half the rate, or whatever.
I thought a mp3 at 320 was cd quality ?.
So .wav is the best right ?.
I wish I could find that darn article, dang it, might have had to do with Itunes, geez it was only about a month ago too.
