Audio Probs on HD channels

Have a new Samsung LCD TV that receives audio while viewing analog channels; but when on HD channels there is no audio - except on commercials. Unit is connected to Samsung sound bar.
TV is connected to AT&T U-Verse DVR via HDMI.
I have tried disconnecting the sound bar and the problem is still the same. AT&T U-Verse has reset/rebooted system and still no resolution.
Seems to me it has to be something related to cable because there is audio on analog channels.
Appreciate any help.

What are you referring to when you say "Analog channels"?

Analog channels went the way of the DoDo some years ago and all TV transmissions are now digital.

Hi, sorry, you're correct. I should have said non-HD channels.

There is audio from the TV speakers and the sound bar when viewing non-HD channels; but when you view a HD channel there is no audio from either the TV speakers or the sound bar.

Is the ATT box is sending some audio over HDMI the TV can't decode.

1. The TV is new. Call Samsung and have them check for current firmware.
2. Ask them how to setup the cable box too.

The issue has been resolved!! As I guessed, the problem was on AT&T's end. The system had been rebooted twice without resolution, but I disconnected and reconnected all connections; then AT&T rebooted again and now there is audio on ALL channels!!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
