1. Download Gspot or some other program and make sure you have the correct AUDIO CODEC installed for the AVI file you are trying to convert. This could be one problem.

2. WinAVI 6.2 has some major problems at the moment. The last one to work reliably was v6.0., and 5.8 for some people. WinAvi 6.2 will now use Nero to burn your DVD files.

3. Nerovision Express v3 will convert your avi file, and then nero or nero express will burn the DVD files to dvd for you.

Not having the correct Audio Codec that was used in the original AVI file is the most likely problem/fix.
