Audio Playback on TV

Hello,
I am trying to play back a tape from my Panasonic PV-GS200 camcorder on my Panasonic TC-P50G15 TV.

My problem is that i get video on the TV but no audio - the audio continues to come through camcorder.

The camcorder is connected to TV using
- S-Video cable
- 3.5mm TRS connector (on camcorder) to RCA (Red/ White) on TV

Clearly the video is going through S-Video but the audio output is not working.

I have tried the following -
- The playback on my camcorder works fine with both audio & video.
- got a new cable from the store
- tried different Audio-Out settings (Out or Out/phone) on the camcorder
- tried placing the RCA on different audio ports on the TV.

Can anyone help?

Unlikely.

But take it to the shop you bought it and ask them to show you the audio working. If it has failed, arrange for return.
