More information about your computer would sure help. Operating system used, make and model of computer, what have you tried already to fix the issue? How much RAM is installed? The more information you give us, the better informed our answer will be.
In the meantime, try visiting the computer manufacturer, or the audio driver manufacturer's website and download/install their latest drive for your sound card. See if that takes care of the problem.
Next, try uninstalling, or at least, disabling unnecessary backgrounds programs which could be using memory/resources.
And next, because malware could be an issue, click on the link below and follow the instructions to the letter.

Hi All,
Looking for some advice in regards to some issues I've been having. When I play a video on youtube, Netflix or vimeo etc. on any of my browsers (Chrome, Firefox, even IE), after a certain amount of time I get a playback error. On Chrome it says "An error has occurred" with some white noise playing on screen, I usually need to refresh the page. On Firefox it just stops, and I have to click somewhere along the streaming line to get it to play again.
When I play a video on MPC or VLM, at a certain point the audio stops working (video still goes on), and I have to close and reopen the file to get some audio again.
I feel like all these issues are linked? Could someone direct me in the right direction?
Thank you so much!
