Audio on some media but not others

I burned a movie DVD using Power2Go. It plays just fine if I use the Power2Go player and also plays just fine on my DVD connected to my TV. It turns out though that only the video will play on Windows Media Player, InterActual Player and Real Time Player.

I did make sure that the mute button on each was not on when I checked the different players.

I have a Gateway Intel Pentium 4 Processor 524

Thanks for any help. If you have any suggestions please explain in laymans terms.

It's almost always a "codec issue." I'm not going to explain this but note that I use the free to use VLC PLAYER when I find a DVD that exhibits this behavior. In closing I use DVD FLICK if I want to make a DVD that plays "everywhere."

In reply to: Sorry.

Thank you so much Bob. I downloaded DVD Flick and it worked fantastic. This group is great and so much of a help for people like me who are computer dummies. Thanks again.

I wouldn't say that.

You took my suggestions without links and just names and figured it out. I fear we've deprived another shop counter another customer.
