I have MSN 7.5 and a Logitech Quickcam STX and the problem I experience is video is fine - and audio with no video is fine, but when I do a video conversation, major static and the other person sounds like Alvin the Chipmonk. all indications are that the mic and the camera are working .... only becomes a problem when used together. Could it be the fact that my wireless cable modem/router is using 801.11b technology? would changeing out to 801.11g resolvew the issue?
I have MSN Messenger 7.5.0311 and a Logitech QuickCam Messenger webcam, with a built in microphone. When I try and have a video/audio conversation in MSN Messenger, I used to be able to use the audio feature, but now I am not able to. I've tried their website for help and I have checked in Audio properties to make sure that the Camera is selected as my primary sound recorder. When I go to Sound Recorder, I know my mic works because it can record the sound. Any suggestions?
