Question

Audio glitches out every minute or so

Feb 20, 2015 7:42AM PST

Hello,

just purchased a new laptop.
And already I am getting an audio delay/glitch when I am watching videos or listening to music.
This glitch lasts about 1 second, and is very very annoying.

I have my drivers all updated, no hardware problems detected, and when I run dxdiag.exe there is no "slider" which other forums have suggested as a fix.

I am just about ready for a factory reset.

Please help

Tell me about driver updated.

If you did this with Microsoft's Driver Update button you could damage drivers. Same for driver update apps.

Answer
how are you listening

how are you listening, through the laptops speakers or external speakers. If laptop speakers try external speakers to see if the issue is there too. since the laptop is new, you may want to contact the manufacturers support to at least get the problem on record. what is the full model number of the laptop?
