AFAIK, WMP will do the conversion as need be.

-> Since you have 2000 CDs why not pull a couple back out and start again with CDEX? That's what I use.

I have about 2,000 CDs in my library. I use windows media player. All of the CDs have been ripped in the WMP lossless format. I want to have the ability to burn my Christmas playlist onto a CD or DVD, in the MP3 format, so it can be played over the business' PA sytem, which will not play any "standard" CD format. Is there a program (hopefully freeware), which I can use to accomplish this?

I want to keep all of the CDs I've ripped, in the lossless format. I just want to burn my Christmas playlist onto a CD, in the MP3 format, for one time only. WMP is not allowing me, or just cannot seem to to convert my burn list to the MP3 format. I have no desire to keep any MP3 format material, in my library. I am not the most computer savvy of people, by the way.
